The College Page is a comprehensive profile for colleges, enabling them to showcase their offerings, engage their community, and organize content. This guide will walk you through the setup, customization, and management of a College Page.


1. Overview of the College Page

A College Page is a profile that provides detailed information about a college and its activities. It allows colleges to showcase their offerings, connect with their community, and promote courses and student work effectively.

Key features include:

  • Contributor Role: One designated contributor can set up and manage the College Page.

  • Ambassadors: Additional team members can be added to appear as "Ambassadors" of the college.

  • Information Fields: Include location, study mode (online/on-campus), operating language, and scholarship availability.

  • Tags: Add relevant interests to help categorize and connect your college.

  • Gallery: Upload a collection of photos in the College Gallery.

  • Banner: Add a static image or video banner to make your page visually appealing.

  • Description: Provide a summary about the college.

  • Courses: Add and manage the courses offered by the college.

  • Student Gallery: Showcase student portfolios and work.

  • Follow Feature: Members can follow the college to stay updated.


2. Adding Courses and Student Work

Step 1: Add Courses

  1. Go to the Courses tab.

  2. Click "Add Course" and input the following:

    • Course Title

    • Description

    • Duration

    • Any other relevant details.

  3. Click Save to finalize the course listing.

Step 2: Add to the Student Gallery

  1. Go to the Student Gallery tab.

  2. Upload student portfolios or individual works.

  3. Organize content by adding titles and descriptions.


3. Managing Team Members and Ambassadors

Step 1: Invite Contributor Role to Create the College Page

  1. A Community Admin invites Contributors via the Community Management section in the Admin Portal.

  2. Select Invite Contributor and provide the contributor’s email address.

  3. Assign permissions for creating one College Page.

  4. Once the invitation is accepted, the contributor can begin setup.

Step 2: Add Ambassadors

  1. In the Ambassadors section, invite the contributor role who created the college page can invite additional team members to join the page.

  2. Click on the Add Ambassador plus button

  3. Select the member profile you want to add

Transfer College Page Ownership:

  • Ownership can be transferred if the contributor leaves the institution or changes roles.

Example: A contributor leaving the college can transfer the page to another team member for continued management.


4. Managing Page Visibility

Step 1: Preview Before Publishing

💡 Tip: Double-check the banner, gallery, and tags to ensure the page is visually appealing and functional.

  1. Use the "Edit / View Mode" toggle in the upper-right corner of the page to preview how the page will appear to others.

  2. Ensure all sections are complete and accurate before publishing.

Step 2: Activate the Page

  1. Toggle the Active/Inactive switch in the upper-right corner to make the page live.

  2. Note: The College Page will appear on the homepage only if set to Active.


5. Troubleshooting and Tips

  1. Can’t See the Page?

    • Confirm the Active toggle is on.

  2. Issues with Uploads?

    • Ensure images and videos meet size and format requirements.

  3. Adding Team Members:

    • Double-check email addresses when inviting ambassadors.
