Your profile banner is the wide header at the top of your profile page. You can personalise it with your own image, a GIF or short video clip, or one of Neutopia's built-in colour styles. Here's how to change it.
Update your banner
Step 1. Open My Profile.
Step 2. Select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your banner.
Step 3. Choose Edit profile.
Step 4. You'll see a bar confirming "You're editing your profile". Changes save automatically as you make them.
Step 5. Select the camera icon in the top-right corner of the banner (not the one on your profile photo).
Step 6. In the Profile banner window, choose a tab:
Image – upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF file of up to 8MB. An image of 1500 × 500px looks best.
Clip – upload a GIF, MP4 or WebM file to use as your banner. Clips can be up to 10 seconds long and 50MB in size.
Style – switch back to one of the built-in colour designs: Creative, Bold, Calm or Minimal.
Step 7. Select Done to close the window, then select Done in the editing bar at the top of the page to finish editing.
Tips
The camera icon on your profile photo changes your avatar, not your banner. Use the camera icon on the banner itself.
For the sharpest result, use an image sized 1500 × 500px.
If your file won't upload, check that it's one of the supported formats and within the size limit (8MB for images, 50MB and 10 seconds for clips).
Want to see how your profile looks to others? Use the three-dot menu and choose View as visitor.
